Happy holiday season! These last two years have been something else, but I am so very thankful for each of the moments I shared and spent with my clients. 2021 was one filled with more elopements, micro weddings, backyard wedding, as well as many captured memories of newborns from past clients. I feel so honored when clients allow me to capture different chapters of their life.
Read MoreI wanted to wish everyone a healthy and safe start to 2021. 2020 was certainly a year to remember. Each of us had to adapt to a new way of life. The world went into lockdown overnight and we were distant from our loved ones, neighbors, and friends. This year, Anchor and Pine saw a lot of changes where larger weddings shifted to micro weddings and elopements. There were many rescheduled shoots, so to fill time, I started to document time spent at home around my community honoring health care heroes daily and celebrating birthdays in alley ways, safely outdoors.

I always envisioned this being a perfect place to say your vows. In partnership with Portland Parks and Rec, the redwood deck is located in Hoyt Arboretum - Portland, OR. This area was founded in 1928 to conserve endangered species and educate the community.
