A Timberline Lodge Wedding
Jeffrey and Brittani shared an intimate wedding with their family and friends at the Raven’s Nest in Timberline Lodge. There was not a dry eye in the room during their ceremony. Their vows brought me to tears. I was honored to capture their wedding day. Hope you enjoy some highlights from the day.
Timberline Lodge is nestled on the slopes of Mt Hood at 6,000 feet. Timberline is an Oregon icon and a National Historic Landmark within the Mount Hood National Forest. The lodge was built during the mid to late 1930s by the Works Progress Administration to provide jobs during the Great Depression. It is also part of our public lands system that hosts over 2 million visitors per year. This iconic lodge is open to the public 365 days each year and serves as a resting point for many backpackers tackling the Pacific Crest Trail and Winter sports enthusiasts. It is also home to longest season in North America. Timberline Lodge offers awesome wedding and elopement packages. You can even get married, stay or have dinner in the Silcox Hut that sits at 7,000 feet. A snowcat will even take you up!
